Hello World!

March 19, 2013

I have reconciled myself to the fact that I will never be a daily blogger!   I have two blogs, two etsy shops, a jazillion friends on Facebook that I have to keep up with, and a large extended family.  So there is no way I am going to get it all done and have time to blog daily!!  What did I think I was?  Superwoman??  LOL  So I guess I will have to be happy with getting on them at least once a week, maybe twice if I am lucky.  I am not a very organized person, and often get flusterated if I can’t get every thing done I think I should.

Some times you just have to sit down a minute, take a deep breath, and say “God, just what is it that I NEED to get done today?”  Then make a plan and stick to it, no sneaking back into the computer to go on Facebook just a minute more, or drool over all the bead bargains on ebay. Or play just one more game of FreeCell.   I usually end up getting a half a dozen jobs started, 2 or 3 in each room, and not getting any of them done.  You know the game, you start cleaning one room and pick up a couple of things that are supposed to be in another room. So you take them in there and while you are in the other room, you see something that you just have to take care of, will only take a minute. HA!!  And so it goes, most of the day.  I often thought I would get a large basket or plastic clothes basket and carry it around, putting all those little misplaced articles in it to distribute in their proper rooms.  As it turned out, I usually left it sitting in one of the rooms and would have to hunt it down.  Now, if I could just remember where I left the broom?
