CHRISTmas gifts!

December 20, 2012

Too poor to buy presents this year. So I took what money I had and bought yarn to crochet and that way I could make something for them all. With all the kids, their spouses, grandkids and great grandkids, and a few friends, I’ve made 26 pairs of house shoes, 16 hats, and 16 scarves or neck cozies, and I’ve got 2 hats yet to make. Anyway, gift giving is not the “reason for the season”, Christ is. And the gifts of our time and love are much more appreciated than how much money you spent on a gift.
By the time Christmas is over I will be tickled to death to trade my crochet hook for my beading needles. Haven’t been able to do any beading for weeks now and I have a UFO just waiting on my table for me to get back to it.
