Busy Days at Gramma’s House!

November 27, 2012

Good Afternoon! Had to take a break, I’m trying to get my Christmas decorations up and so far all I have is the tree! Every year it gets a little harder to get them all up, so this year I am starting early. I like to leave them up until New Year’s and with an artifical tree I can safely do that. Just takes me longer to get the job done. If my family wasn’t coming here for Christmas Eve, I might not bother with the tree and just do the decorating. Oh, who am I trying to kid!! I love the tree too. Sometimes I sit in the living room with only the tree lights on and it is so pretty.
I have most of my gifts made, so far I’ve done 18 pr of houseshoes, (need 6 more), 11 scarves/neck cozies. Gonna have to buy some more yarn!!! OH, and I also did a baby afgan and booties for my daughter’s best friend’s baby shower! LOL Between kids and their spouses and/or significant others, I have 7 grown children 26 to 44, 14 grandkids between 2 and 23, and 3 great-grandkids that are all a year old. They were all three born within 3 months of each other. Holidays are a hoot at gramma’s house. :o)
Well, better get back to it or I’ll never get done. TTLY!
